 Mayordomo VIII is a pure breed Spanish stallion, Pura Raza Espanol (P.R.E.)  with 99 pct. cartujano blood. He was born on April 30, 2002 and has been approved for breeding.

Mayordomo was bred by the well known stud farm in Spain, Yeguada Maipe.

The type is baroque. He has a very gentle and kind nature, and he is very willing to learn. We work with him using only fine techniques according to the principles of classical dressage.


What is cartujano?
Cartujano is said to be the synonym for the absolute pure breed of the Spanish horse. The word comes from the word La Cartuja, the Carthusian monastery at the city Jerez in Spain. The monastery was established in 1476 and the monks started the pure breed of the Spanish horse and they did not accept the mix of other breeds. Breeders today using cartujano blood lineages can therefore trace its ancestors back to the monastery La Cartuja where it all started in the 15th century. In 1835 the pure breeding of the Spanish horse was taken over by the Spanish State and certain private breeders.

The cartujano line possess a graceful round profile, elegance and great beauty. There is one continuous flowing line starting from the poll, tracing the arched crest of the neck, the gentle slope of the withers, the broad muscular back, and finally ending along the rounded hip at the low tucked tail.

The movement is proud, powerful and elevated knee and hock action. The head is sculpted with a large triangular eye with pronounced orbital arch and intelligent gaze.

The temperament is energetic and very sensible. It has a noble and gentle character and it is rustic, sombre and has a high endurance. It is very apt for refined riding techniques and graceful handling.

Bedækningsbetingelser for Stutteri La Gineta

 

  • Kun naturlig bedækning hos Crownhorse Farm, Rodalvej 52, 7183 Randbøl.
  • Bedækningssæsonen strækker sig fra 1. marts til 1. august.
  • Opstaldning kan ske hos Crownhorse Farm i bedækningsperioden. Opstaldning af hoppen sker på hoppe ejerens egen regning og risiko. Afregning herfor sker direkte med Crownhorse Farm.
  • Hoppen skal være uden bagsko ved ankomsten til Crownhorse Farm.
    Hvis hoppen har bagsko på, vil hoppen ikke kunne blive bedækket, før disse er fjernet for hoppeejerens regning.
  • Der skal forevises ren svaberprøve for goldhopper samt for alle hopper med unormalt folingsforløb, samt CEM-prøve af hopper, der har været til CEM-smittet hingst i seneste bedækningssæson. 
  • Det er alene Crownhorse Farm, der beslutter, hvornår hoppen er klar til at blive bedækket. 
  • Bedækning af hoppen sker på hoppeejerens eget ansvar. Hingsteejer kan ikke stilles til ansvar, hvis hoppen skulle komme til skade, blive syg eller dø under opholdet.
     

Bedækningspris

  • Prisen for bedækning med Mayordomo VIII er 10.000,00 kr. Follikelkontrol og anden scanning af hoppen er ikke inkluderet i prisen.
  • 1. rate på 6.000,00 kr. skal betales forud for første bedækning. Dette beløb refunderes ikke, hvis hoppen ikke kommer i fol i den første bedækningssæson.
  • 2. rate på 4.000,00 kr. forfalder til betaling, når hoppen er konstateret drægtig - dog senest 90 dage efter den sidste bedækning. 2. rate vil – uanset ovenstående - senest forfalde til betaling den 1. oktober i bedækningssæsonen, medmindre der fremvises en   dyrlægeerklæring på, at hoppen ikke er drægtig.

 

  • Hvis hoppen ikke kommer i fol i den første bedækningssæson, vil hoppen - hvis Mayordomo VIII ikke er solgt eller død forinden - kunne blive bedækket i den efterfølgende bedækningssæson for et engangsbeløb på 5.000,00 kr. Dette beløb refunderes ikke, hvis hoppen ikke kommer i fol.
  • Dyrlæge bliver som udgangspunkt kun rekvireret efter aftale med hoppeejeren og for dennes regning. I tilfælde af hoppens akutte sygdom rekvireres dyrlæge dog uden, at der nødvendigvis foreligger en aftale med hoppeejeren.
